Leaving Wildwood? We Need Your Help!
If your child will not be returning to Wildwood Elementary next school year, please contact our school office as soon as possible. Notification helps us plan class placements, staffing, and support services for all students.
This request applies to students in TK–4th grade only. Families of current 5th-grade students do not need to contact us, as we know they will be moving on to middle school.
Thank you for helping us prepare for a successful start to the new school year!

Now is a great time to make a plan to ensure that the academic gains your child made this school year are maintained and that they are well-positioned for success when school begins in August. An easy way to do this is to set aside a small block of time each day for your child to practice reading, writing, and math skills. There are many engaging, age-appropriate resources available to help. Summer bridging activity books like the ones linked HERE are popular choices for many families.
Of course, daily reading remains one of the most effective ways to support your child's learning. Just 20 minutes of reading each day can help students maintain and strengthen the literacy skills that support success across all subject areas.
IXL 20-Day Summer Learning Activities
All current CVUSD 1st through 5th grade students have access to IXL, a subscription-based learning site with hundreds of grade-level skills in language arts and math to support your student year round. Click a grade level link below to access a FREE 20-day plan of math and ELA skills your student can use to practice and reinforce skills over the summer to start the new school year off with confidence.
