Field Day
We are starting to plan our Field Day at Maconaquah Elementary, May 21. We will need lots of volunteers! If you are able to help us on this day, please send an email howayc@maconaquah.k12.in.us.

From the Nurse
Attention 5th Grade Parents
Fifth-grade students will need to have Tdap & meningitis immunizations going into 6th grade, if they have not already done so. Please start scheduling appointments now. If you have questions, please contact your child's doctor or the school nurse.
Important Student Pick-up Reminder
NO LINE UP UNTIL 3:00 PM
Transportation Changes
If there is a change in your child's pick up or bus transporation. Please contact the front office. DO NOT leave a message on a teacher's voicemail. The front office will get the message to the teacher and keeps a spreadsheet with the change in transportation information. This ensures that messages do not get lost if a teacher is absent or unable to check their messages before dismissal.

š Braves of the Week
2nd Grade: Mia Gilbreath
Brinley is a hard worker and is always willing to help out in the art room. She always looks like she is having fun with art projects and gets along well with everyone. She is a great drawer, and Iām excited to see how she continues to improve.
4th Grade: Bayron Lanza
Bayron joined our class recently. His behavior has improved, and he is putting a great deal of effort into his schoolwork. We are so proud of the progress he has made and can't wait to see how he does next year.
5th Grade: Taylah Hughes
Taylah joined us after Winter Break, and the growth she has shown since then has been truly remarkable. She is always one of the first to raise her hand and participate in class, and I can count on her to bring a calm presence even when the classroom gets a bit chaotic. Taylah- I cannot wait to watch you perform in the Circus this summer! You deserve this recognition and I am so proud of you!
