Thank you to our families that ate Culvers during our Hillcrest Night. Culvers donated over $500 to our Hillcrest PTA. We are thankful to have families like you support our school. Thank you also to Culvers for their generous donation to our school family.

Backpack Night for Hillcrest will be on August 11th from 4:00-5:30pm. This is an opportunity to come meet your child's teacher and drop off all school supplies before the first day of school.

A huge shout out to the Glenview Art Club for designing and painting two beautiful murals for the hallway and cafeteria at Hillcrest. The colors have brought many smiles into our school and brought some life to our walls. Thank you!!

Reading Ninjas!!

It's Mr. Lopez...

We are starting to wind down our Reading Ninjas book reports for the year! I have received over 200 book reports from our students! Students have been motivated to read and earn their Ninja stickers! In a couple of weeks, we will have our prize drawing for all those who have turned in at least one book report. Our prizes include games, puzzles, gift cards, and the grand prize is a drone (with parent permission of course). Thank you to all of our staff and parents who helped students complete their reports! I plan on doing this next year to keep our students reading!

Dear Families,

This year in order to update and refresh student devices, we will be collecting

Chromebooks from all students currently enrolled in Kindergarten through

4th grade.

We will begin collection on Monday, May 12th and will be collecting the

device, charger and stylus. Beginning on May 12th, to help with the

collection, students will no longer be able to take the devices home. During

the summer, the devices will be cleaned, refreshed, repaired as needed and

updated. Please be sure to send the device itself and any accessories (charger,

stylus) to school on May 12th.

If your child is attending any of the programming hosted by EMSD over the

summer, each program will have a set of devices that students will use during

that program. If your student will not be in the district next year, please give

this information to the teacher.

Our top 5 finishers from our ST Math Week got to experience a field trip to John Deere Harvester Works with their teacher. Thank you, John Deere, for your partnership and believing in our students. You created a moment for our kids. Arianna from third grade was another winner. She is not pictured.

We are excited to continue this partnership next school year.
