Dear Windsong Ranch Elementary Families,

We had such a great week of learning and growing together at Windsong! Classrooms were full of engagement, collaboration, and excitement as students continued making progress toward their goals. Next week, we’re looking forward to honoring our Veterans during our annual Veterans Day program. The following week, we’re excited to open our doors to families for Grandparents and Special Friends Day, one of our favorite opportunities to share our campus with those who mean the most to our students!

Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child’s art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $20. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. November 14 Deadline Alert!

Time is running out! You must order your yearbook by Friday, November 14th to get the lowest price of the year. This yearbook is more than just photos—it’s a time capsule of friendships, experiences, and unforgettable moments. Already ordered? Thank you—you’re in for an amazing book this year! Special for 5th Grade Parents!

Make your child’s yearbook even more meaningful with a Recognition Ad! Celebrate their milestones, highlight their achievements, and show your pride while supporting the school. Grandparents and Special Friends 2-day Event

We’re excited to welcome our grandparents and special friends to WRE’s annual Grandparents & Special Friends Day on November 20th and 21st. Join us for a traditional Thanksgiving meal and celebrate together as a school community. Please fill out this form for each student you have attending WRE, even if your family will not be participating in the special day. This information helps us plan for the 2-day event. The form closes on Friday, 11/14.

Cornerstone Christmas Donations

Please join Windsong Ranch Elementary in supporting Cornerstone Christmas, which brings joy to 350 local children by providing them with a magical Christmas experience. WRE Hope Squad and Strong Team are hosting a Gift Wrap Essentials Drive including wrapping paper, tape, bows, gift tags, medium and large gift bags and tissue paper.

Guidance Lessons

Mrs. Stenson will be visiting all 4th and 5th grade classrooms to complete the anti-victimization lessons for those students who are opted in.

Together We Champion

Our students proudly represented Windsong Ranch Elementary in the first round of UIL events this week! They showcased incredible effort, teamwork, and determination in a variety of academic competitions. We’re so proud of all who participated and can’t wait to cheer on those advancing to the next level!

Together We Empower

Our Guiding Coalition met this week to analyze the “glows and grows” from recent learning walks and use those insights to plan upcoming professional development for staff. By reflecting on strengths and areas for growth, we’re ensuring that our professional learning is purposeful, targeted, and supports every teacher in reaching their full potential.
