Important Information
Panorama Family Survey
Helping students do their best in school is truly a team effort. Parents, students, and educators each play an important role in creating a positive and supportive learning experience. To help us continue improving our schools, we invite you to complete the Panorama Family Survey. prior to November 21, 2025
This short survey asks for your thoughtful feedback about areas such as:
Perceptions of School – how confident you feel in supporting your child’s learning and school experience.
Perceptions of Your Child – how your child approaches learning, motivation, and independence.
School Environment – your perspective on the climate, culture, and relationships within the school.
School Safety – how safe and supported your child feels each day.
Your voice helps us understand what’s working well and where we can grow together. Thank you for taking the time to share your insights and for partnering with us to make every child’s school experience as positive and successful as possible.
Pittsford Christmas for Kids
Pittsford Christmas for Kids is a community program that provides gifts for children in families that may need some help financing the holidays. These can be families that may have no celebration without help, may need some help or could just use a little extra for their children.
After referrals are received a letter is sent to the families to see if they would like help. If they respond, tags are created with the child's wants and needs and community members choose tags to sponsor. The list and the children's names are confidential.
If your family or a family that you know may need help this year, please CLICK HERE. Thank you.

Household Income Form
The Household Income Form (HIF) is a helpful tool to collect household income data when National School Lunch Program information is not available for a student. These data are used for a variety of educational purposes including calculation of pupil weights in the school funding formula, determination of eligibility for other household benefits such as affordable connectivity (internet) benefits and educator loan forgiveness qualification.
The Household Income Form is provided in both a PDF format and an online format. Both versions address FAQs such as: which form to use under which circumstances and how to report income status in data collections are available on the Household Income Form webpage. In addition, the Agency of Education has provided LEAs with “Fill the Form” materials for parent communication to encourage families to complete these forms. Data Town Hall meetings were held in early Spring and late Summer with registrars, business managers and data managers present. The agenda covered the purpose of the Household Income From, reviewed the forms, and reviewed the process of managing and reporting the household income data. For further information, please reach out to your SU Data Manager or email Jamie.Jarvis@vermont.gov.

What is Happening in PE?
Things got a little spooky in the gym last week as we played our Halloween themed games. This week in grades K-5, we have started to work on flexibility and stretching. We are learning why it is important to stretch our muscles and to make sure that they are warm before we stretch. In 6th grade, the students are going to work on making their own target games. They will work in groups to develop the objective, rules, and equipment for their games. They will then get to teach their new game to their classmates. After that, we will be having some fun with Thanksgiving themed games!
On your students PE days, please make sure your students are dressed appropriately to be able to move around, and they have sneakers with them to wear. Crocs and Loafers (Hey Dudes) are not safe for students to wear during PE class. I do have some extra sneakers in the gym if students forget them. If you have sneakers that are still in good condition that your child has outgrown, we are always taking donations to make more sizes available for students.
