November - Gratitude
This month we are learning about Gratitude — noticing the good in our lives and saying “thank you.” Families can make a habit of sharing three things they are thankful for each day. Try asking: “Who is someone you appreciate, and how can you show it?”
Gratitude also connects to Leadership & Character in Torrance Unified’s Portrait of a Graduate. When students express gratitude, they show empathy, respect, and appreciation for others—qualities that strengthen relationships and build strong character.
At the end of the month, one student from each classroom will be recognized at our school assembly for embodying gratitude.
