Wednesday's Words

Dear Families,
I’m excited to share an update to the Teaching & Learning section of the Norfolk Public Schools website. Previously titled Curriculum, this section has been refreshed and expanded to better support families in understanding what and how students learn in grades K–6. While some areas are still being developed and will continue to grow over time, families are invited to explore the page and check back as additional resources are added. The Teaching & Learning page is intended to be a helpful, easy-to-navigate place to learn more about instructional priorities across the district, and I hope you will find it useful. Families are always encouraged to reach out with questions, feedback, or suggestions as this resource continues to evolve.
Warmly,
Katie Young
Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
