CHAPEL HIGHLIGHTS
This week in chapel, Ms. Flaaten reminded students that God created each of us uniquely and intentionally, with special gifts and a purpose. Rooted in Psalm 139:14 and 1 Corinthians 12:18, students explored how our differences are something to celebrate rather than compare. Through interactive activities, they reflected on their individual strengths and how God can use those gifts to make a difference.
Continue the conversation at home: Ask your child, βWhat is one thing you love about how God made you, and how can you use that gift to bless someone else this week?β
WEEKLY READ ALOUD RECOMMENDATION
Read-Aloud Spotlight: The Pumpkin Patch Parable
This week, we are sharing a read aloud called The Pumpkin Patch Parable by Liz Curtis Higgs. It is a heartwarming story about a farmer who carefully chooses, cleans, and transforms a pumpkin into a shining light. Through this story, students were reminded that God lovingly created each of us, works in our hearts, and calls us to reflect His love and light to others.

WEEKLY PRAYER
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for creating me to shine Your light. Help me to be kind with my words, gentle with my actions, and loving toward everyone around me. When someone feels left out, help me include them. When someone is having a hard day, help me encourage them. Even when being kind is difficult, remind me to show Your love. Let others see You through the way I treat them each day.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
