In observance of Veteran's Day on Monday, 11/11 there is no school. We are grateful to those who have served. Enjoy the weekend, bundle up - there is a temperature change out there today.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.

Warm regards,

Julie

A reminder that Friday, 11/15 is an early release day. All students will be dismissed at 11:15 and if your child is in Miss Jess's class, the MORNING group comes to school and there is no school for the AFTERNOON students.

As the holidays approach, there are community resources available if you are experiencing a financial need in the forms of food and gift assistance. If your family would benefit, please contact Julie Martin: all conversations will be held in confidence. Thank you.

On Monday, 11/25 we welcome students from the Norfolk Agricultural High School ("The Aggie"), their teacher Mr. Allen (husband of our teacher Stacy Allen), and animals and reptiles from the Aggie. This is a wonderful learning opportunity for our students to interact and learn about various animals and reptiles. There will be lots of pictures to share no doubt.

It is cold season! We always welcome tissues, paper towels, baby wipes, or hand sanitizer. Thank you.

It was wonderful to see many of you on Thursday evening. Conferences continue this week on Thursday evening and Friday afternoon. See you then!

Sweet Snack Scribbles

This year at parent/teacher conferences we will be offering parents the option to leave their child a note on a plate that the child will use at snack time! We will have a table set up with plates and markers, stickers, pencils etc. for parents to leave their children a sweet snack scribbles, and will be asking for a CASH donation of $1 to the Daniel Feeney PAC. Our teachers will give all students their plates during snack on Monday 11/18.

There will be a tour of DFP for prospective families on Monday, October 28 at 6 pm. Please share this information if you know anyone interested in the 2025-2026 school year.
