Federalsburg Judy Center
October 2024 Newsletter
"To me, the most crucial responsibility of any community is the protection, education, and mentoring of its children. As adults, guardians, and parents, we must offer as many opportunities as possible to ensure the success and development of our children. If we can do this, we will all have met our most fundamental obligation to ourselves, our families, and our communities."
-Judy Hoyer

September was so much fun!
Playful learning
Our friend is exploring these learning materials independently. Can anyone see how she "sized" up the pieces? How about a pattern? Is there a sorting aspect? She is creating order and making mental models, even if she does not have all the words to tell us what or why yet. We love watching them explore materials!
Parents and Child Together
As the children explored "all about me" parents joined in and explored "all about my child". They created paper versions and included descriptive words about their child. Some examples were: caring, daring, brave, kind, sweet, playful and loving.
Learning to explore a good book.
Surveys: We need to hear from you!
