"DID YOU KNOW?" "DID YOU KNOW?"

EVERY SCHOOL DAY COUNTS. “Did you know?" There are only 22 school days until spring break which starts on March 23rd. Please try to schedule any family vacations for that week so your child can attend school every day they are healthy. In 22 days, students can master multiplication facts, learn to write a multi-paragraph essay, figure out how to read 2-syllable words, and so much more. Best of all, students’ confidence in their learning gains momentum at this time of the school year. Consistent attendance is key to each student’s progress and success.

A big thank you to the crew who helped clean up the backyard at Lewis on Sunday afternoon. We cleared out two pickup truck loads of debris with the help of Galen Beasley, Honora’s (2nd grade) dad. We removed trash and toys that had been lost in the bushes. The rest of the seed bomb making materials will go to the Green Team so get in touch with Ms. Aksay and meet up with her Wednesdays after school if you’re interested. Parents are encouraged to join!

The garden committee is looking for a volunteer with a pressure washer to clean the walkway in the backyard. Contact Margie at marjorierose@gmail.com if you are available.
