Mountain Avenue Thursday Update

We've got a great crowd coming, and it's shaping up to be a really fun night. We'll have a taco guy making fresh tacos to order, drinks included all night, and plenty of prizes up for grabs. Who knows, you might even walk away a winner (or at least with the glory of making one of the final tables).

Poker is almost sold out! Bingo is filling up too, but there's still room to join the fun. Moms, dads, teachers, neighbors, grandparents, and friends are all welcome. 21+.

Dear Mountain Avenue Families,
Due to extreme winds and a red flag warning in the Los Angeles area, we are required to reschedule our Halloween Carnival. Under district safety guidelines, grills and inflatables cannot be used during red flag conditions, and the safety of our students, families, and neighbors comes first.
We know many of you were looking forward to this event, and so were we. The good news: the carnival isn’t canceled, it’s just getting a new date!
Join us for one last Halloween hurrah and fall family celebration!

3:30–5:30 p.m.

We’ll still have the inflatables, food, and fun you were looking forward to, and costumes are welcome!

Love our school community and have an eye for great people? The PTA is looking for 5 volunteers and 2 alternates to join this year’s Nominating Committee and help find the leaders who’ll serve on the 2027–28 PTA Board.

It’s a short-term commitment with a big impact: recruit candidates between November and January, then join us at the annual election meeting on February 11, 2027.
