Dear Hawk Families,

Welcome to April!🌷

April is the time of year where we have the opportunity to showcase our student's hard work. They work so hard all year to achieve at high levels and in April they show what they know through the state STAAR assessment. We know they will make us proud!

On April 1st registration for the 2026-2027 School Year began. It is important our families register for next school year early. Early registration helps us plan on how many class sections of each grade level we will need and prevents teachers from having to be added or cut once the 2026-2027 school year has already begun. Students who have fully pre-registered - completed the online registration and uploaded all required documents, will have FREE DRESS beginning Friday, May 1st for the remainder of the school year. Students who will not be returning to EPISD next year, will complete an online form and can also qualify for the FREE DRESS incentive, if completed by May 1st. Once students have completed the requirements and qualify for FREE Dress will be notified by the office staff.

2025-2026 Registration βœ…

Registration Opens on Tuesday, April 1st. Early registration is very important for our campus. It helps us identify how many students are enrolled in each grade level and prevents us from having to move students once the year has begun due to last minute teacher adds.

All students who are enrolled and have ALL of their required documents uploaded will be allowed free dress, starting May 1st until the end of the school year. If you are not returning to EPISD, let us know and we can take you off of the list and also provide you free dress for the remainder of the school year.

Ms. Jones Announcement

I want to take a moment to announce that my husband has retired from the U.S. Army, after over twenty years of service. Our family has made the difficult decision to leave El Paso and move to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in June, at the end of the school year.

I have poured my heart and soul into Bobby Joe Hill these last 3 years and it will always hold a special place in my heart. We have a truly amazing community and it has been such an honor to be apart of it.

I want to Thank each of you for your love, kindness and support. Together we have built something really great here at Bobby Joe Hill and I know it will continue to grow and flourish for many years to come. πŸ’•

πŸ¦…πŸ’‘ Bobby Joe Hill Hawks Engineering the Future this March! πŸ”¬πŸš€

Innovation is soaring at Bobby Joe Hill as our Hawks dive into hands-on STEM challenges that spark creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving!

In the Engineering Lab, our 4th-grade innovators have taken on an exciting design challenge, creating a safe and effective tool to attract, locate, and gently capture a queen bee from a hard-to-reach space without causing harm. πŸβš™οΈ Through this task, students are thinking like true engineers, testing ideas, refining designs, and applying their understanding of both science and empathy in action.

Meanwhile, in 3rd grade, students are combining science and engineering in the LEGO Lab as they explore weather and its impact. 🌦️ Using their knowledge, they are designing and building storm-resistant pet houses to keep animals safe during severe weather conditions. 🐾🏠 These young designers are learning how to apply their understanding of weather patterns to create solutions that protect and serve.

From protecting pollinators to designing for safety, our Hawks continue to lead with ingenuity, compassion, and a passion for discovery, proving that the future is in brilliant hands! πŸŒŸπŸ¦…

Students are expected to come to school everyday with their district issued device and have it charged. This ensures they are ready to learn and access the curriculum.

If a student comes to school for two or more days in a row without their device, we assume it is lost, damaged or stolen and will contact the parent to begin assessing fees for the missing device. We do offer payment plans for devices and their parts, such as chargers.
