This SUMMER at Whitesville
Happy July, Wildcats!
I hope you're having a summer full of sunshine, laughter, and time with the people you love.
As I get ready for my first year as principal at Whitesville Elementary, I just wanted to say how excited I am to be joining the Whitesville family. Over the next few weeks we all will be planning and preparing to kick-off the 26-27 school year.
One of the things I'm looking forward to most is continuing to meet our families and build relationships. I truly believe the best schools feel like family, and I can't wait to get to know each of you and partner together to help our students grow, lead, and succeed.
Enjoy these last few weeks of summer, soak up the memories, and know that we're busy getting everything ready for an incredible school year. I can't wait to welcome everyone back to Whitesville!
See you soon!

July 27th: Golden Ticket Delivery
The Whitesville Staff is hitting the road with the Back-to-School Party Bus for one of our favorite Whitesville traditions—Golden Ticket Delivery! Each summer, we personally deliver a special invitation to the first day of school, giving students a sneak peek at the exciting year ahead. We can't wait to celebrate with our Wildcats!
Since we'll be visiting nearly 300 homes throughout the Whitesville, Knottsville, and Philpot communities, we're unable to guarantee a specific delivery time. If no one is home when we stop by, don't worry—we'll leave your Golden Ticket in your mailbox or at your door.
A few important reminders:
Out-of-district tuition and transfer students are invited to meet us at Whitesville Park at 3:00 p.m. to receive their special delivery.
Lists are printed from Infinite Campus, so please make sure your registration for the new school year is complete before July 27th!
Some driveways are not accessible for our buses due to limited turnaround space or low-hanging trees. If we can't safely pull into your driveway, we'll leave your delivery in your mailbox.
The safety of our staff, students, and families is our top priority. If loose pets are outside or we have any safety concerns, we'll leave your delivery in your mailbox or at your door.
We'll have four buses traveling different routes, so your patience is appreciated! While we can't provide an estimated arrival time, we promise we'll do our best to make it to every Wildcat.
We can't wait to kick off another amazing school year with you!

IT'S KINDERGARTEN SIGNING DAY! 🎉
This is a special day for our newest Kindergarten Wildcats as they officially sign their Leadership Pledge and become part of the Whitesville family!
Our goal is to help students feel excited, comfortable, and confident before the first day of school. They'll have the opportunity to meet their teachers, make new friends, and enjoy an exclusive "Kindergarten Only" experience in their new school.
While we know it's exciting to be part of this milestone, this event is for students only so they can begin building independence and connections with their classmates. Bus transportation is available for families who would like to use it, and additional information will be shared closer to the event.
Kindergarten Signing Day: 9:00–11:00 a.m.
