Tiger Tales
Our Aspen Family Newsletter
I can hardly believe we are already in September! What an incredible start to the school year we have had at Aspen. Our Tigers have jumped right in, learned new routines and procedures, reconnected with friends, and settled back into the rhythm of school so well. I have loved seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and watching our classrooms come alive with learning!
And now we are heading into one of my very favorite times of the year! 🍂 There is so much to look forward to at Aspen, including Homecoming and our annual Tiger Trot on September 18th! I always love these special traditions because they bring our entire school community together and give us a chance to celebrate being Tigers.
Thank you for the continued support you give our school each and every day. Whether you're cheering your child on at home, partnering with your child's teacher, or simply sending your Tiger through our doors ready to learn, it truly makes a difference.
Here’s to a wonderful September filled with learning, laughter, school spirit, and lots of Tiger pride!
Thank you for your continued support!

Late bus arrivals
Medical, health or legal appointments with a note or other documentation

Limited extenuating circumstances as approved in advance by the school principal
September 18th - Tiger Trot!
Aspen’s biggest fundraiser of the year is back and will be on September 18th! Tiger Trot is a PTO fundraiser on the morning of our half day for Homecoming. Classes go outside and run/walk laps around the track. Parents are welcome to join in the fun by volunteering or trotting with their child.
Schedule will be shared in the coming days!
Donations are based on how many laps your student can run around the track. 5 laps = 1 mile. The kids really put all their energy into the Tiger trot last year!
PTO will also be doing pre-orders for spirit beads and pom-poms!
On this day, all elementary schools will dismiss at noon in order for the community to be able to come to the Homecoming Parade at 2:30pm.

Please fill out the form at least two weeks before the birthday and submit payment online after submitting the form.

Late Arrivals
If a student arrives late to school—even just a minute after the bell—a grown-up must come into the office to sign them in. This helps us keep accurate attendance records and ensures every child is safely accounted for. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe and our records accurate!
Updated Website
We have been slowly updating our Aspen School website. Please bookmark our website so you can visit it throughout the year to find needed information.
