Welcome, Author Rebecca Siegel!

We’re thrilled to welcome author Rebecca Siegel to our school library! Ms. Siegel's book, Loch Ness Uncovered: Media, Misinformation, and the Greatest Monster Hoax of All Time was recently nominated for the NYPL's Best Books of 2024 list!

On January 10th, 6th graders participated in an inspiring writing workshop during their ELA blocks. Then, on February 28th, Rebecca will return to speak with 7th and 8th graders during Colt Times about her writing journey and the critical topic of misinformation and how it fueled the hoax of the Loch Ness monster.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn from a professional author and grow their writing and critical thinking skills! Ms. Siegel’s books are available for sale through the Revtrak site.
