Welcome to PHS!

Dear Pearsall High School Families,

Welcome to a new school year! We are excited to welcome our students back to Pearsall High School and begin another year of learning, growth, and success.

A Great Start Matters

The first few weeks of school are an important time for students to establish routines, build relationships, and set goals for the year. We encourage families to talk with their students each day about their classes, assignments, and experiences at school.

Please help your student start the year strong by:

  • Arriving at school and class on time each day.
  • Following the campus dress code and school expectations.
  • Checking grades and assignments regularly.
  • Communicating with teachers when questions or concerns arise.
  • Making attendance a priority. Every instructional day matters!

🎯Attendance Matters

Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in student success. It is important for students to be at school all day, every day. Please help us reach our attendance goal of 95% by being at school everyday.

FEC(LEGAL) — Attendance: Attendance for Credit

90% Rule: Except as provided below, a student in any grade level from kindergarten through grade 12 shall not be given credit or a final grade for a class unless the student is in attendance 90 percent of the days the class is offered.

🦺Safety & Campus Expectations

The safety of our students and staff remains one of our highest priorities. Throughout the year, students and staff will participate in safety drills and review emergency procedures.

We also ask families to help us maintain a safe and orderly campus by reminding students to:

  • Follow all staff directions.
  • Walk in designated areas and use appropriate hallways.
  • Keep phones in their Yondr pouches.
  • Treat classmates and staff with respect.
  • Report safety concerns or inappropriate behavior to a trusted adult.

We appreciate your partnership in creating a school environment where students feel safe, respected, and ready to learn.
