MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL BANKS
Greetings Lindblom MSA Eagles,
We are officially in the single-digit countdown! This week, finals will conclude, and students will clean their lockers and return their books. Swoop-a-palooza will be fun for our 7th-, 9th-, 10th-, and 11th-graders. As we head into this four-day week, energy levels are high, and summer break is on the horizon.
Congratulations, 8th-grade Class of 2026! You made it, and your graduation was a moment of pride for all of us. Also, let’s give a round of applause to our AC boys and girls track teams. You all left everything on the track and brought home a hard-earned trophy!
Last but not least, thank you to our students, teachers, and parents for making this an unforgettable year. Together, we proved that when we collaborate, communicate, and extend a little extra grace to one another, there is nothing we can't accomplish.
Together we rise onward and upward,
Principal Banks

Summer Reading
Dear LMSA Eagles,
Your summer reading assignment can be found HERE. You must complete the reading BEFORE returning to school on August 24, 2026. Your English teachers will begin the school year with lessons, activities, and tests on the summer reading. As a current student at Lindblom, there is NO EXCUSE for not having the summer reading done. The reading list is also posted on the school’s website if you need to reference it over the summer. These books are typically available at the public library; you can use your Lindblom student ID to check out books at all Chicago Public Libraries. The Lindblom library may also have a few copies as well. New and used copies are always available online and at bookstores.
