Arrival/Dismissal & Playground
School Hours 8:10am-3:10pm
- The playground is closed in the morning but will open at 3:15pm for students to play after dismissal if they have a parent with them. Otherwise, the playground opens at 6:00pm. And Dawn to Dusk on the weekends.
- Parents and students need to remain outside of the playground until all students are dismissed.
- No riding bikes, scooters, skates,e-bikes,skateboards or motorized items on the playground or parking lot at any time, other then to park them.
- No Dogs are allowed at any time.
- Bike riders will need to walk their bike while on school grounds.
- A bike rack is available at the front for students coming from the north and west area.
- A bike rack is available in the back of the building for students coming from the south and east.
- Parents of car riders are asked to have their student's last name on a name plate to help speed up the process.
- For safety, parents are not able to walk their students to their classroom.
- If you would like to visit the classroom teacher, please contact the teacher to make those arrangements.
- Walkers will enter and dismiss through the back east door.
- Walkers may enter the playground at 8:00am to access the building.
- Dogs are not allowed on school grounds at any time.
- Keeping students safe takes cooperation from all of us.
- When exiting the parking lot during arrival and dismissal, right turns only are permitted.
- Not turning left keeps the line moving and allows our teachers to complete their morning duty quickly.
- No parking along any part of the front circle drive at any time.
- No parking and walking through the car line during arrival and dismissal.
- No parking on the streets to pick up or drop off students.
- No parking by the loading dock or trash bins at any time.
- Pull all the way around to the end of the drive when dropping off or picking up car riders.
- You may leave your student when teachers are present and on duty at 8:00am.
- Car riders must remain in the car until a teacher is available to load/unload your student safely.
- Let students out on the sidewalk side and wait for a teacher to assist them.
- If you are needing to make a change for dismissal, a phone call to the office by 2:00 pm is required.
- Teachers do not have access to emails while they are teaching.
- Have students ready to exit the car when you enter the car line.
- All items need to be accessible.
- Students need to be able to exit quickly and safely.
- Any student arriving after 8:10am will need to enter the office with a parent/guardian to be signed in.
- Students are tardy if arriving after 8:10am.
