A MESSAGE FROM MRS. PITTSER, SUPERINTENDENT
As Panther Nation closes the first semester of the school year, we would like to take a moment to express our MT PRIDE! The character traits and talents that our students possess are top-notch and we could not be more PROUD of them.
Check out a few of our distinguished fine arts departments, showcasing their incredible talents...
Or our student groups who invest in service projects to benefit those in need…
How about our students thriving on inquiry-based learning…
We have so much to be thankful for at Miami Trace! May the holiday season fill you with great joy - the same joy and happiness that our students bring us.
Wishing you a wonderful winter break!
BOARD OF EDUCATION
Bryan McCoy
Lindsey Worley
Over the course of Miami Trace School Board’s history, we have been and continue to be fortunate to have dedicated and positive individuals. Collaborating closely with our staff, these Board members strive to deliver quality education while ensuring responsible use of taxpayer dollars. Alongside the administration and staff, we will collectively work towards achieving our District’s mission in serving our children and youth.
SAFETY AND WELLNESS AT MT
Ensuring the safety of our schools is a collaborative effort that involves the entire community. The established protocols play a crucial role in safeguarding the well-being and security of students, teachers, and staff. As we embark on a new semester, we wish to review some of the safety measures that are currently in place across the district.
School Safety Guide
We invite you to review the School Safety Guide found on our website. This informational guide outlines some of the various proactive steps implemented by the district to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for all. Additionally, it provides brief but important insight regarding the district's Emergency Response practices and guidance on how families can respond during school emergencies.
Reporting Suspicious Activity, Bullying, or Unsafe Behaviors
Miami Trace utilizes STOPit, an online anonymous reporting system that is designed to deter bullying, discrimination, and other inappropriate or unsafe behaviors. The STOPit portal can be accessed through a web browser or by downloading the mobile app.

Flu Season is Here 🤒
Here is a reminder from the Centers for Disease Control to help tell the difference between the common cold and the flu.
Flu cases rise in fall and winter. Now is a great time to get a flu vaccine if that is something you choose to do. Everyone ages 6 months and older are able to receive the flu vaccine and there are many places in the community that offer them including pharmacies, physician offices, and the health department.
If you have any health-related questions or concerns, contact your school clinic to speak with any of our nurses.
