Greatness - Service - Family
Green Sea Floyds Elementary is committed to the service of all students. We aspire to empower students to achieve greatness by providing meaningful learning experiences and fostering a family atmosphere that supports the physical, social, and emotional well-being of all students.
GSFE Greatness - Support Staff of the Year
Mrs. Karen Reeves
Green Sea Floyds Elementary is proud to announce that Karen Reeves as our Support Staff Employee of the Year! Karen truly lives out our vision of Greatness, Service, and Family in everything she does.
As a multipurpose paraprofessional, Karen is the definition of adaptable. Her day can change in an instant, but she always jumps in with a smile and a “how can I help?” attitude. No matter where she’s needed, Karen gives 100% and helps keep our school running smoothly through her willingness to serve others.
Karen’s heart for service shines brightest in her work with students. She brings patience, kindness, and a calm presence that helps students feel safe and understood. She has a natural way of meeting students where they are and helping them grow, which makes a huge difference in their day.
Her flexibility, compassion, and servant’s heart make her an essential part of our school community. We are incredibly grateful for Karen and proud to honor her as our Support Staff Employee of the Year.
Congratulations, Karen, and thank you for all you do to make a difference in the lives of our students!

PE with Mr. Schutte
We’ve been having a great time staying active in PE! Students recently finished our bowling unit, showing awesome teamwork and sportsmanship, and had lots of fun playing the fast-paced game Ghostbusters.
Coming up soon is the PACER Test, where students will challenge themselves, build endurance, and see if anyone can set a new school record!
We’re also looking ahead to cup stacking, focusing on coordination and speed, and continuing to practice for our exciting Elimination Nukem Tournament at the end of the year.
📣 Kids Heart Challenge Fundraiser
Our Kids Heart Challenge will kick off on February 9 and run through February 27. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about heart health while helping support a great cause.
Thanks for your continued support—let’s keep moving and having fun in PE!
