Dear Lemon Crest Families,
Families, WE DID IT!!!!!!
We had our Jog-a-Thon today, and we CRUSHED our $15,000 goal and as of right now, we've raised $19,891!!!!! INCREDIBLE!!! This much-needed fundraising will support our little school in BIG ways!! There are still a few hours left to donate, or if you want to check out the current amount and which classes are in the lead: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/lemoncrest25 - We'll have our Jog-a-Thon Prizes, including the class that gets to silly string me - on Friday, November 7 at our All-School Assembly at 8am on the blacktop! A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to our incredible PTA for planning and organizing this event, as well as gratitude to each of our lions, families and staff for raising money! Red Ribbon week is THIS WEEK! October 27-30th! At Lemon Crest, we want to teach our students about the importance of making healthy choices! Here are some fun Spirit Days for Red Ribbon Week:
- Monday: RED-y to make healthy choices - Wear red!
- BMX Assembly is at 9am! Families, you're welcome to join!
- Tuesday: DREAMing of a healthy future - Wear your pajamas!
- Wednesday: Team up for health - Wear your favorite sports gear!
- Thursday: Hats off to health - Wear a hat!
- Fall Bingo with Principal Price! Parents/caregivers, if you'd like to come help me out, please email me to let me know! :)
- 8:15-8:45am TK and Kindergarten
- 9:00-9:30am 3rd and 4th grade
- 10:05-10:35am 1st and 2nd grade
- 11:00-11:30am 4th & 5th grade
- Friday: Don’t be tricked– the real treat is healthy choices - Wear your Halloween costume!
- Halloween Parade is at 8am! Parents/caregivers, you are welcome to come watch! Please, no scary, bloody or gory costumes - we have Lions as young as 4 years old at Lemon Crest! Keep it silly spooky but not scary. No weapon type accessories! Thank you!!!
