2nd Grade Business Partnership Tour First Security Bank
Both 2nd grade classes had a wonderful time on our business field trip this week. Students had the chance to go behind the scenes and see inside the vault, which was far bigger than any of us anticipated. We learned what a safe deposit box was and how it can be acquired and used. Miss Beth gave students an up close look at the teller line and how it was set up. A crowd favorite was seeing just how fast the money counting machine could count out paper money and how quickly the coin counting machine could count an entire bag of coins. Miss Shelley showed the kids the ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) and explained how customers can complete deposits and withdraws, as well as so much more. Overall it was a great experience and we learned more about what an amazing asset having a local bank in our community is. Thank you to the entire First Security Bank and Trust crew for allowing us to come into the bank and learn from you!
