Last Full Week of the Year, Coming Up! Last Full Week of the Year, Coming Up!

Hello, RVS Families!

We are very excited for the many activities coming up this week: your student should have brought home a calendar on Friday with details for each day, and we are attaching it here as well. Please help your kiddo enjoy these days by being prepared with appropriate gear and by arriving on time. We are looking forward to having a great time over the next few days!

This Friday evening, we are also looking forward to a very special production on Friday evening of the Bridges Play "The Busy Bees Circus" at 5:00 PM. All students and families are encouraged to attend! We are working hard this week practicing for our graduation, as well, and hope to see as many families as possible next Wednesday, June 19th, at 5:00 PM.

Have a great week!
Shannon

RVS Important to Remember: RVS Important to Remember:

  • The last day of Bridges will be Friday, June 14th. Please be sure to communicate your after-school transportation plans with Tina for June 17th - 20th if your child usually attends.
  • Please note that June 20th will be a half day, ending at noon. Students can be picked up, or ride the bus.
  • Current 4th grade students will end their day on June 20th at Main Street Middle School. They will ride the Roxbury bus back to RVS, and can be picked up here at 12:30. Alternatively, they can be picked up at MSMS at noon.

End of the Year Events: What's coming up? End of the Year Events: What's coming up?

We have a very busy end of the year planned, with local events and plenty of fun field trips! Please note departure times for these trips to ensure that your child arrives in time to go.

  • Please see the above calendar graphic for all field trip information.
  • Wednesday, June 19th will be our RVS Graduation Event from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. ALL students will be "graduating" this year, so all families are encouraged to attend!
  • Wednesday, June 19th is the last day of school for kindergarten students.
  • Thursday, June 20th is a half day, and grades 1-4 will be at UES. All students will "step up" to their new classes, and fourth graders will go to MSMS after the graduation parade. Grades 1-3 will return to RVS for a 12:00 dismissal. This is the last day of school for grades 1-4. Please note that fourth graders will return on the middle school bus, so they will arrive back at RVS around 12:30.

We will continue to update this list as other events are added. We do realize that the end of the year is a busy time for families: if there is anything we can answer questions about, don't hesitate to reach out to shannonm@mpsvt.org.
