Board Appreciation Month Board Appreciation Month

January is School Board Recognition Month! We want to recognize the time and dedication it takes to serve as a school board member. Thank you for your service to our students, their families, and the community. Serving as a link between the community and the district, school board members are elected to establish the policies that provide the framework for public schools.

Clinton-Massie Board Members have been elected to represent the greater community and to bring their ideas to fruition while creating the best opportunities and education they can provide for our local children. Thank you for serving!

This month we also recognize a new board member; Candace Frump. Candace is a Clinton-Massie graduate and a district resident with 2 upcoming "wee" falcons. She is the Vice President at Peoples Bank with 19 years of experience in operations, sales, service, and most recently project management. She is a Six Sigma black belt in business and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management.

We welcome Candace and thank her in advance for the time she will spend as part of the Board of Education.

School Closing/Delay Procedures School Closing/Delay Procedures

Clinton-Massie will consider closing on days when The National Weather Service issues a Wind Chill Advisory or Wind Chill Warning. With students waiting at bus stops, extreme cold of this nature is a safety issue.

The National Weather Service issues a Wind Chill Advisory when wind chills are between -15 and -24 and issues a Wind Chill Warning when wind chills are -25 or colder.

Outdoor Facilities - "4 Quarter Drive" Outdoor Facilities - "4 Quarter Drive"

Our facilities need immediate attention as some are on the verge of not being useable due to safety concerns and many need significant upgrades over the next 1-3 years to allow continued use. The district is asking for community financial support through a grassroots funding program.

We aim to partner with local businesses and community members to drive facility upgrades. Local businesses and community members are rewarded with many great sponsorship opportunities including but not limited to Naming Rights, Advertisement Opportunities, Donor Wall Recognition, PA Announcements, Season Passes, etc.

The entire project is approximately $2.5 million dollars. The "1st quarter" of the 4 Quarter Drive focuses on replacing the turf. It is 13 years old and at the end of life. An average turf field lasts between 8-12 years. The turf provides athletic opportunities for our football, soccer, lacrosse, youth teams, band, and community. It is a revenue generator for our school, so it needs to be our focus.

Melinda Jones

Melinda was nominated for her dedication to the temporary roll she was asked to fill at the end of the 23/24 school year. With staff changes, she was a candidate for the head cook position that opened up this year. Melinda stepped up and formed a great relationship with the high school cafe staff.

Matt Doyle

Matt deserves all the award boxes checked. He supports the district by working in maintenance. He works hard to help in keeping the campus looking it's best while assisting the staff with almost any issue. Matt fields calls 24/7, coaches on the evenings and weekends and has left family Christmas dinner to address a water pipe break.

Falcon Flight Paths Falcon Flight Paths

Falcon Flight Paths will serve as an executive summary of what is happening in each grade level. Listed below are the slideshows we used to start the last two school years, and below those are the Flight Paths for each of our grade levels, our unified art classes, our extended standard learners, and our whole-child focus.

This is who we are and what we believe to be essential for our students.
