Fall Panorama Family Survey

Panorama Survey is a questionnaire for parents and guardians, in order to gain insight into your perception of our school and district effectiveness. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think. Together with student and teacher results, the family results help principals decide on whole-school interventions for the next school year.

• When Panorama survey will start?

The survey will be open between September 21st through October 2nd

• Didn't I already do this?

• Will my child’s teacher or principal know what I said on the survey?

No. The Family Survey is anonymous. The data are sent directly to Panorama Education, a secure third party. Panorama processes results and reports them to the school principal, without identifying information.

• How can I take this survey?

You can take it online. The Columbus City Schools will send the link to your email. Your student's school will send reminders with links and QR codes to access the survey. Also, you can reach the survey link by clicking the button at the top of this newsletter.

• What do I do if I have multiple children?

If you have children in different CCS schools, please fill out one survey for each school.

If you have more than one child in the same school, please fill out the survey once and focus on the general experience of all your children attending that school.

• Is the survey available in other languages?

Yes! It is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Somali, Nepali, French, and more. When you click the survey link there is an option at the top to select other languages.

• What is the main goal of the survey?

This survey helps us gather data to gain insight into your perception of our school and district effectiveness. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think.

• Why does the survey ask about my race and ethnicity, what area I live in, and my child’s gender?

The survey asks for this demographic information so schools and the district can analyze whether results are different for different groups and provide targeted support. It also tells the district whether we are hearing from a variety of perspectives.
