A Message From the Principal
Good afternoon,
Students did a great job this week with all of the different schedules we had due to IAR testing. They came prepared with a charged device, wired headphones/airpods, and a book to read following the assessment. We have completed the Math sections and will be moving on to ELA on April 7 and 8th. Any student that has been absent will be scheduled for a make up session after April 8th.
Please check out the trailer for our Fremont Middle School production of Little Miss Christie. All grade levels will have an opportunity to watch the musical. Please see the schedules for April 9-11th below. Join us for the performance on April 11 at 6:30 pm in the MS Gym.
Warm Regards,
Emily Loerakker
Fremont MS Principal

7th Grade - Career Day!
Fremont Middle School 7th grade students will be participating in a Career Day on May 29 from 9:45-12:30, and we are looking for your help! To make this happen, we need volunteers to come and speak to small groups of students about their job. A schedule with more information will be provided as the date gets closer. For now, please indicate your interest in speaking to students by completing this Google Form. Thank you for your time and help in creating an authentic learning experience for our students!
Early Pick-Up Procedures
If your student needs to be picked up early, please notify our main office at 847-566-9384 or send an email to the receptionist, Karolina O'Malley, at komalley@fsd79.org. A parent/guardian or designated person must present identification to pick a student up early. Please note that the latest pickup time is 2:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 1:30 PM on Wednesday. Parents cannot park in handicapped parking spots near the gym as it interferes with bus pick up.
Absences
Sincerely,
