Over 40 SHS choir students participated in the Whetstone Choral Festival this last Tuesday. Sisseton students joined with participants from surrounding area schools including Rosholt, Britton-Hecla, Summit, and Waubay.

Singers spent the day with a guest conductor learning and mastering a pre-selected group of songs, and ended the day with an evening chorus performance to exhibit their hard work and skills.

Getting Ready for Spring!

Students in Intro to Ag class began building bird houses in the shop this week. Pictured are Sparrow and David, using a miter saw to cut angles for their project.

Modeling New Spring Fashions?

Cody and Jackson volunteered to have some extra fun as models for their peers in Mrs. Nordquist's Spanish I class this last week.

Sporting lots of colors, accessories, and good attitudes, they helped students start to remember the new vocabulary that they will use to describe the different types of clothing they wear in different seasons, as well as where they like to shop.

Learning...Dig It! Learning...Dig It!

Students from photography class took a short break from snapping photos and prepping the year book to help repot the ag room plants this week. Signs of spring are everywhere!
