🌷HAPPY SPRING BREAK!

I hope you all enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating break this next full week away from school. There will be no school next week, March 25th-29th. Spend as much time as you can enjoying the people that make you smile and the beautiful spring weather. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, April 1st. While it is hard to believe, upon our return we will only have a little over 7 more weeks of school until summer break. Our last day of school for our K-12 students is scheduled for May 21st. Our last day of school for preschool students will be May 17th pending no additional emergency days are needed. Let's make this final quarter of school the very best.

Madison Communications sponsors a Teacher of the Year Award each year. It is very easy to nominate your favorite BHCUSD8 teacher. We have some great teachers that deserve some special recognition. Please nominate before the end of March.

I am excited to announce that our school will be getting an amazing new playground structure added to our playground. This new playground will be installed over the summer and ready for play at the beginning of the school year. The playground pictured above is the exact model that we will be getting! This structure includes four slides, climbers and more! It will also sit on top a rubber solid surface for the utmost safety and durability for many years of play to come for our Bunker Hill students.

It's never too early to purchase your Wolf Ridge Yearbook for this school year. They will be $15 now and will go up to $18 starting January 1st. Click on the link below to order today!

We also have about 25 yearbooks that are available for purchase from last year if anyone forgot to purchase them. They are $15 each. Email Misty Perez at mperez@bhcusd.org if you are interested in purchasing a yearbook from the 2022-2023 school year. First come first serve!

There will be no school this week for spring break.

Touch-a-truck, build a book, build a bridge, build a boat and have a hot dog and chips on us.

This will be a 70s theme dance for all 6th-8th grade Bunker Hill students.

We will honor our 8th grade students on this evening.

We will have a special fun day for our preschool students on this final day.

PFK will host a fun day on this day for our Wolf Ridge students.
