All the music classes are great! The Vocal Power class performed their Country songs complete with elongated vowels, dropped consonants, a few vocal slides, and a whole lot of attitude. Music 6 started the Melody unit, focusing on playing melodies using iconic notation. They are playing xylophones, boom whackers, and recorders as well as singing! The Digital Music Class chose two songs to create a mash-up. Arranging the songs required the manipulation of tempos, keys, and lyrics. The Music Theater Workshop began blocking Aladdin Jr, the class play. They are terrific!

On Tuesday, November 12 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM students can perform solos, duets, trios, and quartets for our illustrious clinicians: Dr. Sasha Gerritson, Mr. Matthew Hanes, and Mrs. Kate Lee. Students will sign-up for a time slot. Please save the date!
