Understanding Deadlines & When to Apply
Our seniors have been busy finishing essays, submitting SRARs, and finalizing applications! Many priority or early action/early decision deadlines fall within the next two weeks. While the college application process itself can be confusing, so can knowing what the different deadlines mean! Check out the graphic below to understand the types of admissions deadlines.
Reminder: Some schools do NOT have early action or early decision, including many of our state schools (think: West Chester). If a school has rolling admissions, it is still better to get the application in early, as they are offering admissions on an ongoing basis and you do not want the major/program you are seeking to fill up! It is okay to apply regular decision to schools prior to the deadline, but you will still receive a decision at the normal notification time.
Still Stressed? See below for details about how you can get help!

College Spotlight: Drew University
What could be more beautiful this time of year than attending the "University in the Forest"? Drew University has been the setting for several movies and television shows due to its idyllic setting and the charm of the town of Madison. Beyond aesthetics, Drew celebrates a top business program, and with easy access to New York City, students often partake in one of their NycTREC Semester offerings including: Wall Street, Museums and Cultural Management, Broadway/Theatre, and United Nations.
