What's Happening at Odyssey?

Students have been cleaning trails and our grounds in preparation for this great community event. Please come support all of their hard work!

Please be sure to fill out Final Forms for this school year. What you enter in Final Forms is what we use for the year- this includes your student's address, phone numbers, allergies, and medications. It is very important this is filled out yearly and updated as contact or medical information changes. Please log in and make sure your screen is green!

Check PowerSchool for current grades. If your student is not passing a class, encourage homework lab attendance. We offer at least one teacher-led homework lab every day during Enrichment. We appreciate your support in helping us help your student pass classes.

Please call the office if you are unsure how to check your students' grades.

Activities vary each day during this time. This week, Lacey from 7th Gen is returning to lead us in Native American beading and craft activities. We will also have Nintendo Switch, Homework Labs, Trail Walks, Nerd Club, Garden Club, Drone Operation Practice and more! This time is spent building and practicing social skills and forming relationships.

If your student missed Picture Day, you are still able to take them to Guys and Dolls. Give their studio a call at 989-772-2167 and to stop in there and get a quick photo taken- at least for an updated school ID. You are able to do this until September 30.

The Federal Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA, comes out on October 1 for guardians and students to fill out.

It is time to get your FSA ID to make filling out the FAFSA quicker! Sign up today for your ID. Guardians and students both need their own FSA ID.

If your senior is interested in meeting with Michigan Works, please let the office know. A rep comes here from Michigan Works and will work with students on planning their employment path now and after graduation.

Orange Shirt Day raises awareness of the history of residential schools. It is recognized on September 30. Please wear orange on September 30.
