Five Good Things in Spring
September 28, 2025
Spring ISD’s Family and Community Engagement team and the Houston Food Bank brought the love, the groceries, and the good vibes to the Mobile Food Market on Sept. 23! Families from across the district gathered at the Community Engagement Center for an afternoon of fresh food, smiles, and support. These monthly markets are all about neighbors helping neighbors—and we’re just getting started. Catch us again soon, and don’t forget your reusable bags! 🥕

What a way to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month! Reynolds Elementary School was filled with laughter, cheers, and plenty of “¡Lotería!” as families gathered for a night of Latin-style bingo, prizes, and tasty snacks (shoutout to the PTO for the nachos 🌮). Huge thanks to Mrs. Frausto, the amazing KG bilingual teacher, for leading the charge on such a vibrant event! 💃
Spring ISD leaders, staff, and volunteers gathered at Momentum High School for the annual Success Walk, spreading the word that EVERYday Counts, Attendance Matters! 💚 Teams from all over the district hit neighborhoods and phone banks to connect families with resources and encourage daily attendance, because showing up every day is the first step to success.

What an amazing morning at Coffee with a Cop!☕👮 The Spring ISD Police Department, students, staff, and community members came together for coffee, conversation, and connection. The best part? The community spirit was even stronger than the coffee! 💙
At its heart, Coffee with a Cop is about building relationships and learning from one another—strengthening trust, understanding, and community bonds one cup at a time
