No Costume Friday
Tomorrow is Halloween, but trick-or-treating doesn't happen until after school lets out. Please keep those costumes home; there's important learning to be done here!
Principal’s Coffee Chat is Friday, November 7, 2025 at 8:00
You are invited to our upcoming Principal's Coffee Chat on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., where our counselors will lead a discussion on Digital Safety and its impacts on social-emotional learning. Feel free to bring a neighbor as well, even if they don't have kids attending F.Ave.

Crossing Guard Appreciation Week Starts November 10
Next month, we’re celebrating the everyday heroes who keep our students safe on their way to and from school. Rain or shine, our crossing guards show up with a smile and a stop sign, helping everyone cross safely, and setting the tone for a great school day. Take a moment to say thank you with a wave, a note, or a kind word. Their work deserves to be noticed—and appreciated. And get ready to join us for the next Walk & Roll on Wednesday, November 12!
Nominate Your Crossing Guard of the Year
It's time to recognize the incredible crossing guards who keep our students safe every day! Please share your appreciation and help us select this year's Crossing Guard of the Year. Click on the link below to fill out a short nomination form. And please share the link with your friends, neighbors and your kids. Hearing directly from the kids who see these crossing guards in action every day makes the recognition even more meaningful and helps us celebrate all the amazing work our crossing guards do. Staff Wellness 🧘🧘
Help Us Create a Zen Space at FAVE!
We are working on creating a relaxing “Zen Space” at FAVE for staff to unwind, reset, and recharge. We are seeking donations of calming items such as massage chairs, tabletop fountains, aromatherapy diffusers, soft lighting, cozy seating, and other items that promote relaxation.
If you have something to donate or would like to contribute, please contact Erica Bacher at ecarlin31@gmail.com. Together, we can create a peaceful space for our school community!
The Staff Wellness Committee is also looking to offer yoga for our teachers and would love for a parent volunteer! If you have experience teaching yoga or know of a teacher who is available, please reach out to Erica Bacher at ecarlin31@gmail.com.
