AP School Honor Roll

Irmo High School has been recognized for its academic excellence, earning a prestigious Silver distinction on the AP School Honor Roll. This achievement is a testament to the school's commitment to providing its students with rigorous and enriching educational opportunities.

Through the College Optimization award, our school is working to ensure that at least 5% of the Class of 2025 will have the opportunity to take 5 Advanced Placement (AP) courses during their high school years, including at least one AP course in either 9th or 10th grade. This initiative is designed to empower students and prepare them for the challenges and demands of college-level coursework.

Our school's success is the result of the hard work and dedication of its staffulty, students, and families. Irmo High School is grateful for the unwavering support and commitment of its community, which has been instrumental in helping us reach this remarkable milestone and position its students for future academic and personal success.

Bullying Prevention Week

The Irmo School Counseling Department will be hosting various activities in observance of National Bully Prevention Month during the week of October 21st-25th. Each day we will share positive affirmations with our students and provide opportunites for them to engage in activities that encourage respect, kindness, inclusion, community and anti-bully messaging. We want our students to develop healthy habits by being Upstanders instead of Bystanders. When they see something negative or counterproductive to say something, even if that means using the STOPit App to report situation anonymously. Please speak with your student about the activities planned for next week and encourage them to participate. Thank you for your support!
