Major's Minute
The rain on Veteran's Day was unexpected for our family. But something came over our daughter's. They both were so happy, just itching to get out into the rain. Brianda wanted to play in the rain and ride a bike. Janae just stood outside in the rain with an umbrella.
Looking back, the rain could have been in indicator of all of the overflowing blessings of the week to come. The Holy Spirit just filling us to overflow. This has been another whirlwind week of blessings on top of blessings. This reminds me of the song lyrics of "Holy Spirt Rain Down".
Holy Spirit, rain down, rain down
Oh, Comforter and Friend
How we need Your touch again
Holy Spirit, rain down, rain down
Let Your power fall
Let Your voice be heard
Come and change our hearts
As we stand on Your word
Holy Spirit, rain down
No eye has seen, no ear has heard
No mind can know what God has in store
So open up Heaven, open it wide
Over Your church and over our lives
**We are updating our volunteer files. We'll be asking current and new volunteers to complete the volunteer packet. We will also be giving you instructions on how to get additional fingerprinting (now required by law) for those who work with youth. You will not need to pay for anything. We will guide you on how to get this done.**

Young adults are called by God and chosen for a purpose greater. It is important for each to understand that their true identity is found in Christ, who is the foundation of everything. As each grows in faith, we pray that they step confidently into their God-given purpose, knowing that they are part of a much larger story—God's story.
Scripture: "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." - 1 Peter 2:9
