Hello families!

We hope that you are enjoying summer! It's hard to believe, but the first day of school is right around the corner!

Registration for returning 7th and 8th graders is in the Gym on Thursday, July 23 from 3:00-6:00 pm. Please make sure that you have completed registration in Final Forms beforehand so your student is prepared for the first day of school!

Bridge is scheduled for July 23 and 24 for our new 6th graders! Please make sure to register for more information. Sixth grade schedule pick up and drop in is scheduled for July 30 at 6:00 pm. We are excited to welcome you!

If your student is going into 7th grade, then YES! Please make sure to have proof of receiving the TDAP vaccine. You will receive more information soon from Nurse Bailey.

As you come in to register, support the Falcons by picking up a shirt and/or a sweatshirt! T shirts are $15, and sweatshirts are $20! Students may were the Falcon shirt and sweatshirt in school, and the funds help support various activities during the school year!

Customizable options can be purchased through BSN Sports. These options allow money to funnel back to the school, as well.

The SMS PTO is excited to announce the return of our 3rd Annual Falcon Challenge Dodgeball Tournament—our biggest and most exciting fundraiser of the year!

Mark your calendars now for Friday, November 6, 2026, and get ready for a day filled with friendly competition, school spirit, and nonstop fun! The Falcon Challenge is designed to promote healthy, active lifestyles while building teamwork and community through the classic game of dodgeball.

Whether you're dodging, throwing, or cheering from the sidelines, it's a high-energy day for everyone involved—and all proceeds go directly to benefit the entire school. This year, your support will help us refresh and upgrade the school’s Canteen area, we hope to create a more inviting and functional space for our students.
