Dear Cashman School Community,

I hope you are having a wonderful week! It was a festive Unity Day today and our good friend Zoe joined us this afternoon to show her support (and her new badge!)

Staffing Update

Cashman School's Principal's Secretary Linda Lynch has taken a new role with Amesbury Public Schools as the district's Payroll Coordinator! Mrs. Lynch has been a beloved staff member of the Cashman School for many years and we wish Mrs. Lynch all the best in her new position. Interviews are underway for Mrs. Lynch's position and I will be sure to update you as soon as is possible. In the meantime, Front Office Secretary Alexandra Crisham will continue to receive communications regarding attendance and Alexandra Crisham, Assistant Principal Emily Kessel and myself will also be responding to office matters as identified during this interim period of time.

Daily Schedule

For your awareness and planning, our daily schedule over the next week is the following:

Thursday, October 22, 2026: Day 3

Friday, October 23, 2026: Day 4

Monday, October 26, 2026: Day 5

Tuesday, October 27, 2026: Day 1

Wednesday, October 28, 2026: Day 2

Thank you very much for all of your ongoing support and wishing you a terrific rest of your week.

Kindest regards,

Amy

CES Happenings! CES Happenings!

Fifth graders are making great progress learning to play the ukulele with their music teacher, Mrs. Roberts! Students are learning how to hold their instruments, strum chords C/Am/F/G, and work together to play songs. Ukulele helps students develop coordination, listening, perseverance, and teamwork while building confidence as young musicians. It’s exciting to see their skills grow as they practice and make music together! Any fifth-grade student that would like to continue developing their musical skills are encouraged to join the "TrebleMakers Chorus"! Rehearsals are held every Monday from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in the music room, beginning October 26. Students can pick up a sign-up packet in the music room, or contact Mrs. Roberts at Sarah.Roberts@amesburyma.org for more information.
