For the 2026-2027 school year, students will pay full price for meals unless they are approved for 2026-27 free or reduced-price meals by household meal application or SNAP benefits. If your student was approved last year, you still need to fill one out this year.

PERSONAL AND DISTRICT BENEFITS AND DISCOUNTS

Union Public Schools depends on the percentage of free/reduced price qualifying students to provide us with funding not only for meals but also for multiple other programs including:

• The e-Rate program, which provides funds for many of our technology initiatives based on free/reduced student percentage.
• Federal Title programs, like Title I for extra support for low-income families, Title III for our English learners, and Title X for our homeless students, all receive additional funding based on our percentage of students who qualify for free and reduced-price meals.
• Discounted academic test fees, such as SAT/PSAT/ACT
• Discounts on college applications and scholarships
• Discounts on fees for youth programs and athletics

It is important that you complete an application prior to September 24, 2026, so the appropriate allocations will be distributed this year for our students. Inflation is impacting everyone! Please take advantage of saving your family money by applying for free/reduced cost meals, and in turn helping Union provide the wonderful services your students need. We appreciate your continued support.

Breakfast – All grades: $1.90
Lunch- Elementary: $2.70
Lunch- 6-9th Grades: $3.00
Lunch- High School: $3.20
Breakfast Reduced: $0.30
Lunch Reduced: $0.40

• Basketball Grades K-2 and 6-8 Registration is OPEN. Registration is now open through September 16 with a fee of $50.00. After September 16, registration will remain open until October 7, with the fee increasing to $65.00.
• Tennis Grades 2-6 will open on September 3 through September 24 with a fee of $50.00. After September 24, registration will remain open until October 8, with the fee increasing to $65.00.

Your username will be your first name and the last four digits of your phone number on file with Infinite Campus. Once logged in, follow the steps below to register your child for the program:

1. Select the box with your child’s name

2. Click “Register for Athletics and Activities”

3. Select "Register" next to the Intramural XXX program

4. Click "Manage"

5. Click "Fill Out"

6. Complete and submit the form

7. Click "Pay" to complete the fee payment
