The Westgate Wire
August 5, 2026
The beginning of school is rapidly approaching! The Westgate Staff has been busy preparing the building for students.
We have created this FAQ for families to highlight important information about Westgate. We strongly encourage you to read through the document as it will provide answers to many of the questions you may have to begin the school year.
We are looking forward to seeing you soon!

Class Placements
Class placement emails will be sent to families on August 13th. It may take a few hours for all families to receive their email, so please be patient. Feel free to call the Westgate office on August 14th if you have not received your placement notification email.
Please remember that the class placement process is complex. The process involves many staff members, and much time, energy, and thought go into creating our class placements. We are unable to accommodate requests for specific staff members and do not make adjustments to class placements once they are finalized. We have AMAZING teachers and staff at Westgate! Please know we are committed to supporting our students and families to ensure a great year!
Health Services - Medication Drop off
We are looking forward to a HEALTHY school year. Please refer to the Medication Drop Off Reference Sheet and schedule an appointment with our school nurse if you need to drop off medication. Please refer to our Health Services webpage for additional information and required health forms.
