Student Council
Happy Spring! Student council wanted to kick off the new season by doing a donation fundraiser. We will be looking for new, unused water bottles to be donated to students who need one. We will also be looking for snacks to be distributed to classrooms. A flyer will be going home soon, be on the lookout! ~Mrs. Hart
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports
PAWS tickets are a way to recognize students for meeting school expectations. Students have been reviewing cafeteria, hallway, recess, and bathroom expectations to earn tickets in January and February. When staff sees a student being respectful, responsible, and safe in one of these areas they are praised and receive a ticket. Each month our school has a school ticket goal toward a reward!

What's Our PTO Up To?
Outdoor Play
We are fortunate to have many outdoor Physical Education opportunities for our students. They participate in snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and sledding. They are also outside daily, weather permitting, for morning and mid-day play.
To help your child be prepared, please send an extra pair of mittens/gloves and hats, as they get quite wet and are often not dry for the mid-day recess. Thank you!

PAWS Parade
What is a PAWS Parade?
Our PAWS Parade is a special celebration where students, staff, and parents line the hallways to cheer for students who have earned a PAWS Award for being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. Students can be recognized by their classroom teacher, allied arts teachers, and *new this year* their principals! It’s a joyful way to honor positive choices and encourage our whole school community to live by our PAWS expectations.

This year, our district-wide theme is Growing Purposeful Partnerships. Partnerships exist all throughout a district. Whether it's between schools and families, teachers and students, staff and community members, and among colleagues working together. Each of these relationships play an important role in creating the strong foundation our students need to thrive. As a district, we are committed to making these partnerships intentional and meaningful, ensuring that every connection supports the growth, success, and well-being of our students. We are excited to focus on this purposeful work together throughout the year.
