Our final chapel ended our year in prayer. Each class brought out their prayer chains and connected them with other class chains from other classes creating one large circle. We then prayed over them again before burniing them and watching the smoke rise.

If you are looking for a way to have your child improve their Math and Reading over the summer and are not sure how to start then look no further! Mrs. Stacey Luyinda, our KAES librarian and reading support teacher, is offering tutoring in Math or Reading during the summer. The rate is $25 for a 45 minute session. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Luyinda at 817-681-6014.

Progress reports have been prepared and printed. They are available at the school office. Please come by sometime next week and pickup your child's progress report. 4th quarter awards are also ready and you can get these when you pick up progress reports. School summer office hours are Monday - Thursday 10 am to 2:00 pm. All other times by appointment.

Congratulations to Kim Hutchinson our 7th grade homeroom teacher and KAES Vice Principal who was awarded the Southwestern Union Conference Excellence in Teaching award.

Wednesday, June 7 from 3-8 pm in the shade at KAES, the Keene Church will have water activities and slides. Come and have some fun.

Lunch order is to be placed with the homeroom teacher each day. $4.25 small $5.00 large

All meals are vegetarian

KAES is looking for a Cafeteria Director. The person in this position will be in charge of planning and preparing weekly lunches, ordering food, be in charge of the kitchen and work with others in the cafeteria. If this interests you, please contact Todd Coulter or the school office at 817-645-9125.
