Schedule Changes

Like last year, many DJHS/DCS classes are at or near capacity. Very few schedule changes will be granted at the start of the school year. If a student requires a schedule change, they can complete the schedule change request form using the link below.

  • Counselors will have delayed response to emails. This is the REQUEST FORM (below) is the process we utilize to facilitate any schedule changes.

  • Students should follow their schedule until their counselor contacts them.

  • Students that come to the Student Services Office will be directed to class.

Below is the schedule for the evening. Due to the large number of families that attend we have a more structured event than ES/MS.

  • Parents will start in MOD 1/2 class and follow the schedule based on the lunch assignment (see below).

  • The lunch your child has will dictate the times you should follow. You will NOT "attend" lunch this evening.

  • Study Halls will not meet, and you are invited to tour the school or visit the Commons to interact with other high school staff.

Annual Update is OPEN!

On August 1, families received an email with instructions to complete the 2025–2026 Annual Update in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This required process allows parents and guardians to confirm or update important information—including home address, phone numbers, emergency contacts—and to acknowledge district handbooks, student code of conduct, and technology use agreements for the upcoming school year.

Please note: This year, families must complete the Annual Update in order to access key information in the Parent Portal, such as grades, fees, and assessment data.

Helpful Reminders:

  • For best results, complete the Annual Update using a computer or tablet.

  • Address changes require two proofs of residency. A list of accepted documents is available on our Enrollment Required Documentation page.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this essential back-to-school step!

2025-2026 Calendar

**PLEASE MAKE NOTE THE FOLLOWING WHEN PLANNING FOR YOUR FAMILY**

  • EXAM WEEK IS DEC. 16-19: We do not permit exams to be taken early. So please consider this when planning your holiday trips. The break is significant so would suggest waiting until after exams to plan travel.

  • LAST DAY OF SCHOOL: FRIDAY, MAY 29: This is Friday AFTER Memorial Day so it is later than normal. The Memorial Tournament is June 1-7, 2026 so it works out ; ).

If you have questions or concerns, please let us know and we will be happy to assist.

NEW High School Bell Schedule

High School: All four high school buildings will be operating on a Modular Schedule consisting of fifteen mods. A regular high school class is 2 mods in length, so students can take 7 traditional classes (2 mods each), leaving one mod for lunch. Students in some of our specially designed courses may experience a 4 mod long class and use a mod for travel to and from Emerald Campus.

Dublin City Schools is launching Press Pause. Power Down., a new campaign to support student focus and well-being by limiting distractions during the school day.

In alignment with a new Ohio law, students in all grade levels are prohibited from using personal communication devices during instructional hours, from the first bell to the last (7:55-2:42). Devices must be powered off or in airplane mode and stored out of sight.

We recognize this is a shift, especially for older students who previously had access during lunch or class transitions. However, this change is about protecting learning time and reducing distractions, stress, and unhealthy digital habits.

Safety & Wellness Playbook

In partnership with the City of Dublin and Dublin Police, we've compiled a comprehensive Safety & Wellness Playbook to help families understand the measures in place to protect students. This document outlines our approach to various safety threats—from minor disruptions to major crises—and provides insight into the ways we plan, train, and mitigate risks in partnership with local law enforcement. We encourage all families to read through the playbook, which is linked below.

Save the Date! High School Redistricting Public Information Session August 26

Join us on Tuesday, August 26, from 7–8 p.m. for a Zoom webinar offering an inside look at how Cropper GIS will use data to create new maps that balance student populations across Dublin City Schools’ three high schools. Superintendent Dr. John Marschhausen and Matt Cropper will walk through the process, tools, and terminology (such as “planning blocks”) used in a redistricting study, showing how factors like enrollment trends, feeder patterns, transportation, and future growth are analyzed before any draft boundaries are created. While specific boundary changes will not be presented, leaders will answer pre-submitted questions about the process and next steps. Use this form to submit questions by August 22. The Zoom link will be shared on the district website the morning of the event.
