5th Grade Orientation 5th Grade Orientation

We're thrilled to host our incoming 5th graders for a special orientation on Thursday, August 21, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore the school and find their homerooms before the hustle and bustle of the first day. While orientation is a student drop off event, Mrs. Pietrasik and I will be available in the auditorium from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM to answer any parent questions.

Mrs. Kent and Ms. Levy are looking for students to help out during the orientation. If you have a rising 6th, 7th or 8th grader that would like to help, please reach out to Mrs. Kent (haley.kent@whrsd.org).

Schedule Release Date & Requests Schedule Release Date & Requests

I hope everyone had a refreshing summer break, filled with time for recharging and making memories. We can't wait to welcome all of our students back for what we know will be a successful and exciting school year!

Student schedules for the 2025-2026 school year will be released on August 18th at 8 a.m. You will be able to view your child's schedule through the Infinite Campus parent portal.

We want to assure you that a tremendous amount of time and effort goes into creating a schedule that provides the best possible academic experience for all students. Our goal is to ensure every student is placed in classes that support their success throughout the school year.

With that in mind, we kindly ask that you refrain from making schedule change requests unless there are extreme and documented circumstances. We have full confidence in our dedicated teachers and believe that they will each build strong connections with our students and help them thrive in any class.

Thank you for your understanding and partnership. We are confident it will be a wonderful school year!

Warmly,

Mrs. Pietrasik

Schedule Change Schedule Change

We have revamped our daily schedule. WIN Block moved from period 5 to period 4. Students will have WIN 4 out of the 5 days per cycle. With this move, we were also able to include a Flex block during period 4. The Flex block is designed to give students dedicated time to catch up on assignments, seek extra help from teachers, and complete iReady minutes.
