Shoreham Elementary School

Hello Shoreham Community ,

It has been a wonderful week, we started the week with two of our 4 / 5 graders doing the morning announcements. On Friday, we had our very first all school assembly in the cafeteria. At that time we reviewed our school expectations; We Respect Ourselves, We Respect Others and We Respect the Environment. We then proceeded to discuss what they look like in the classroom, lunchroom and at recess .Our students were able to answer those questions and give thoughtful examples.

I have to say, I was very proud to see and hear the passion and ownership that our students took around making our school a safe place where everyone is seen, heard and a valued member of our Shoreham school community.

Next , I wanted to share with you that each student should be bringing a folder home every Friday. That same folder needs to be emptied and returned to school on Monday or the next school day.

Lastly, I hope everyone has a great weekend! We are looking forward to our first full week of school next week!

Sincerely,

Lashawn Whitmore- Sells

Principal

We all are quite appreciative for whatever folks are able to contribute.

If you have questions please contact Irene in the office.

Dear Parents and/or Guardians of Shoreham Elementary School,

I hope everyone had a lovely summer and is now getting excited for the first day of school!

This is an important reminder that if your students are taking a prescribed medication that will need to be administered at school then it is required to have a signed permission form from a medical provider. Please bring your students daily med / inhaler / epipen on the first day of school with this signed permission form.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
