Message from Mr. Imbusch
Dear students, staff, and parents/guardians:
Here at WHS, we have been working hard to keep up with the ever-changing world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically as it pertains to teaching and learning. The following article was taken from the NYT last week. This article is a must-read for all parents (and students). I encourage all parents to try to keep pace with this fast-paced technology so that you can guide your children accordingly.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Stephen Imbusch
Principal
Anti-Hazing Law
Attention all students - The term ‘hazing’ means “any conduct or method of initiation into any student organization, whether on public or private property, which willfully or recklessly endangers the physical or mental health of any student or other person”.
Here is a copy of the Massachusetts Anti-Hazing law (Chapter 269: Section 17 & 18) which every student should read. All club advisors and athletic coaches have been asked to attest that their members have received a copy of this law, and that every member understands and agrees to comply with the provisions of this section of the law.
Attention Walpole community! WHS is holding a Career Day for students on the morning of October 10th. If you or someone you know would be interested in speaking to students about your career, please fill out this form.
