Here are the ways you can stay up-to-date with what is going on in Mountainburg Schools:

• The Dragon Weekly - Posts and is sent out via text and email every Sunday @ 6:00 PM.
• The Dragon Strong Community - This is done by Dr. Atwell. It will be sent out on the 1st Monday of each month.
• District Website - www.mountainburg.org
• DragonsLink App - Download from your play store - search Mountainburg.
• Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, and the LiveFeed on the website.

If your group or organization would like to have a booth, please complete the form below.

• You will need to bring your own table.
• Electricity will not be available.
• In the event it rains, the Community Tailgate will be canceled and not moved inside.

Picture dates are set for the 21-22 school year! We are contracted with Heritage Portraits in Van Buren. Click below and mark your calendars with the dates set for different pictures through December. A schedule of dates will be provided for the second semester before Christmas Break.

The 2021 Danny Cochran Memorial Golf Tournament was a HUGE success! It was held on Saturday, August 7 at Winn Mountain Golf Course. Fifty-two team participated. Dragon athletes and Dragon Athletic Programs have benefited each year from this tournament.

The Junior High Cheer team had their summer cheer camp this week! The team worked on many skills including stunting, tumbling, sideline cheers, and team building! They held a performance at the completion of camp to showcase the progress they made this week! Junior High Cheer is ready for a great year!

Friendly Reminders for Parents of Dragon Athletes:

1. Physical - Every athlete in grades 7th-12th must have a physical before they can participate in their respective sports. Mountainburg Family Clinic will do an athletic physical for $25.00.

2. Complete the DragonFly registration for each athlete. The physical form will need to be uploaded into DragonFly. This can be done by scanning it or taking a picture of it. If the form is two-sided, both sides need to be uploaded.

My name is Hailey Quinalty, I was born and raised in Mountainburg. For the last 10 years, I have worked in a medical setting doing patient education and care. I have 2 children in the Mountainburg School District. Bryson, who is in 8th grade, and Adilynn, she is excited to start kindergarten this year! Most of my free time is spent making custom items and watching Bryson play whatever sport is currently in season. I am so excited to join the team that helped shape who I am today.

After a 26-year career in manufacturing, owning two franchise businesses, working for local busineesses - Simmons Quik Stop and Simmons Plant Farm, I now transition to working for Mountainburg Public Schools. A two-term Justice of the Peace who is passionate about family, cows, and the love of the outdoors. Once a Dragon - Always a DRAGON!

Hello, my name is Andrea (Andie) Turner. I have three children and a wonderful husband who are my life. I am new to the Mountainburg district as an employee but, not to the community. I am also a student at Arkansas Tech University to further my education in the teaching world. I could not be more thrilled about this opportunity and what it holds.

Hello! My name is Kalyn Rhoads and I'm a Special Education Resource and Inclusion Math teacher at the Mountainburg Middle School. I have a Bachelors in Vocal Music Education and 2 years of teaching experience in Special Education. I am married and have 2 boys and a dog. I'm so excited to be a part of the dragon community!
