Major's Minute
This past week we were blessed to attend our Fall Officer's Councils. This is a time for officers to gather together for business updates, teaching, and rejuvenation. During this week we heard testimonies from new officers into the division, studied about Holiness with Bill and Dianne Ury, worshipped, and even joined in the retirement ceremony of Majors John and Judy Bennett.
Coming back we began finalizing the preparations for the Parade of Champions. We had a small but mighty crew with the Orosco, Moorhead, Ruwethin, Begonia, and Edens family represented. It was a blazing day, but the timbrelists played with smiles to the words "Lord You are good and your mercy endures forever. People from every nation and tongue, from generation to generation, we worship You. Hallelujah, hallelujah! We worship You, for who You are, You are Good!"
It's amazing what God can do in a week! He is always moving forward, calling out to people to know Him. We thank God for allowing us to be a part of His ministry to the world!

Cadet Care Package
Cadets Brenden Armendariz and Kiara Armendariz along with their daughter, Irene (3 years old) are from our Golden State Division. Both Brenden and Kiara are officers children who have answered the call to become officers themselves. They left their home in Modesto and are dedicated to follow God wherever He leads. Although, they are committed, they are in their first few months of training away from the familiar. Would you help us, as a church to send off a Care Package to them? We will be setting up a bin to collect items for them and will send a care package at the beginning of November.

Trick or Treating at CANDY CORN WAY
We're inviting the community (including yourself) to come to our First Annual Trick or Treating at CANDY CORN WAY - Getting the community onto our property to know that we are here and bless them. For our first event we are asking for hosts to decorate, purchase candy for, and/or pass out candy at the doors of our property from 5 - 7 PM. We'll have a handful of lawn activities and music - nothing too overwhelming our first year. We pray to meet families and grow this event each year to come.
