Hello Graham Families!

Reading Month has been great so far! It has been so much fun talking with students about our book, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. The students have been sharing great thoughts and connections, and I hope you are enjoying reading along at home as well.

To wrap up this wonderful month of reading, we will be hosting a Family Bingo Night for all of our Graham families! This will be a FREE event with food, books, games, and lots of prizes.

We hope you can join us on Wednesday, March 25th beginning at 5:30 PM for a fun evening together celebrating reading! 📚🎉

Kindergarten Round Up is NEXT FRIDAY!

We are so excited to meet our newest Huskies! Round Up will take place on Friday, March 13th at 1:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Graham and ask any questions you may have. Please feel free to call the office if you need assistance. You’ll also find a link in this newsletter with all of the information needed to enroll your Young 5s or Kindergartener.

Our Summer programs are registering students! This is a FREE program to all Wayne-Westland Students. The program will run Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30pm during the month of July.

Families are invited to attend an Internet Safety presentation to help parents and guardians understand the good, the bad, and the ugly of social media and otheronline platforms for children and teens.

This session will cover:
✔️ Popular apps and platforms kids are using
✔️ Online risks and warning signs to watch for
✔️ Tips for setting healthy boundaries and having meaningful conversations at home

Whether your child is just starting to go online or is already active on social media, this presentation will provide valuable information and practical tools to help keep kids safe in the digital world.

If you have cleaned out some clothes or your food pantry at home, please consider donating items to our Care Closet!!!

The Student Council at Graham is collecting donations of non-perishable food items, clothing items, and hygiene products for our Care Closet that will be available to all Graham Families! Please bring all donation to the front office. Thank you!!!

Our Care Closet is almost ready for people to use! We will send out a message when it's good to go!

Snack cart will be avialable every TUESDAY and FRIDAY during all lunch periods. The 5th grade students run this to support their CAMP FUNDS. Young 5 and Kindergarten students get the SNACK CART in the morning instead of at lunch time.

PLEASE fill out a background check if you plan to volunteer at ALL this year in your child's classroom or on a field trip. THIS MUST BE DONE EVERY YEAR!!!! We cannot accept background checks from LAST school year.
