Greetings Park Families,
I want to welcome everyone back from our spring break. I hope that everyone is recharged and refreshed as we head into the final stretch of the school year. I first want to welcome back Mrs. Brown as she has returned from her maternity leave. I would also like to recognize she and Mr. Rifenburg, as we celebrated national Assistant Principal's week over spring break. We appreciate all that they do for the students and families at Richardson Park.
Testing season is fast approaching and we are excited to see the growth of our students since the beginning of the school year. Students in grades K-1 will be participating in the end of the year Acadience tests while our students in grades 3-5 will be participating in State Testing. Our students in grades 2-5 will also be participating in I-Ready testing for Reading and math that measures their growth during the school year. We look forward to seeing outstanding results from all of our students.
As the weather warms up, please remember to follow the rules of the car line. We have been doing a great job of moving the line as quickly as possible. Again, we look forward to a strong finish for the school year and appreciate all of your support.

Les doy la bienvenida de regreso tras las vacaciones de primavera. Espero que todos estén con energías renovadas para la recta final del año escolar. En primer lugar, quiero darle la bienvenida a la Sra. Brown, quien ha regresado de su licencia por maternidad. También quiero reconocer su labor y la del Sr. Rifenburg, ya que celebramos la Semana Nacional del Subdirector durante las vacaciones de primavera. Agradecemos todo lo que hacen por los estudiantes y las familias de Richardson Park.
Se acerca la temporada de exámenes y nos entusiasma ver el progreso de nuestros estudiantes desde el inicio del año escolar. Los estudiantes de kínder y primer grado participarán en las pruebas de fin de año de Academian, mientras que los de tercero a quinto grado participarán en las pruebas estatales. Los estudiantes de segundo a quinto grado también participarán en las pruebas I-Ready de lectura y matemáticas, que miden su progreso durante el año escolar. Esperamos ver resultados sobresalientes de todos nuestros estudiantes.

Red Clay Autism Program
Red Clay Autism Services is supporting the Eagles Autism Foundation this year, both with fundraising for our Red Clay team and participating in the Eagles Autism 5K. Could you please include the attached flyer in your family communication this week?
If we hit the fundraising threshold as a Red Clay team, the school with the highest fundraising total will earn a visit from SWOOP and will receive lots of fun Eagles Swag. Last year Mote had the highest total and we were able to have a school wide visit from SWOOP in October. If you are interested in the different levels of fundraising benefits I have attached for reference.

Este año, los Servicios de Autismo de Red Clay apoyan a la Fundación Eagles Autism, tanto con la recaudación de fondos para nuestro equipo de Red Clay como participando en la carrera Eagles Autism 5K. ¿Podrían incluir el folleto adjunto en la comunicación con las familias esta semana?

Student Showcase Opportunity at MLL Conference
Students are invited to participate in Multilingual Me, a student expression project celebrating multilingual learners and the diverse language experiences they bring to Delaware schools.
Students may share what being multilingual means to them through a variety of creative formats that reflect their identity, culture, and voice. Selected submissions will be shared digitally during the annual Multilingual Learner Conference to be held in April. See the MLL project flyer for submission information and deadlines.
